Exchange Rates
Exchange Rates can be updated in the system by selecting the currency you wish to update and adjusting the Exchange Rate field. The frequency of update will depend on your company policy and/or the rate of fluctuation of the currencies you are using.
The currency you primarily work in is your base currency and will be set in the system with an Exchange Rate value of 1.
The default currencies in the system are GBP, EUR and USD. To add other currencies, click + Add New.
Note:
To be able to view or edit Exchange Rates, you’ll need to have appropriate User Access to the Settings module.
Exchange Rates field explanations
| Field | Mandatory? | Description |
| Currency | Y | The three-letter code of the currency. |
| Exchange Rate | Y | The Exchange Rate against your base currency. (Set to 1 for your base currency). |
| Last Updated By | Automatic | The display name of the User who last edited the Exchange Rate. |
| Last Updated | Automatic | The date and time the Exchange Rate was last edited. |
