How do I connect my accounts?

In order to access the integrations setting you will need to have full access to the settings in the system.

To integrate Workhorse with Quickbooks, navigate to Settings in the left hand menu and select Integrations. Click on the row marked Quickbooks. The integrations screen will appear with Integrations on the left hand side and Additional Information on the right hand side. First, use the Integrations box to connect QuickBooks.

To connect your Quickbooks account just click on the Connect to Quickbooks button. You’ll be asked to logon to Quickbooks and authorise access for Workhorse.

How do I disconnect from Quickbooks?

You can disconnect from Quickbooks by clicking on the Disconnect button on the Integration page. Alternatively you can disconnect from within your Quickbooks account, from the Apps menu. This will mean that data will not flow between the two software but that all data that you have at the time that you make the disconnection will remain.

What doesn’t your integration do?

There are certain fields which do not synchronise directly from Workhorse to Quickbooks and and the data only flows one way.

When and how does data sync occur?

Synchronisation from Workhorse to QuickBooks happens in real time when you save a record at the correct status. For example when you save an invoice at status “Sent” you will instantly see that record in QuickBooks.

You will know that a record has synched from Workhorse to QuickBooks because it will be given a QuickBooks reference.
